Before founding Réseau Tubulure, Gilles had a corporate career at Amazon, where he built in-depth expertise in supply chain management and process optimisation. He now applies these skills in efficiency and customer service to a manual trade. The turning point in his career came from a simple water leak at his home. That experience, together with meeting a passionate craftsman, rekindled his pride in manual work and his belief in the fundamental importance of human connection.
A Formal Qualification and a Clear Vision
Convinced that he could combine the best of both worlds, Gilles made a complete career change. He obtained his CAP in plumbing (Certificat d'Aptitude Professionnelle, the French national vocational qualification) at the age of 37, confirming his technical expertise and his formal commitment to the profession.
As a craftsman himself, he understands the technical challenges of the trade. As a former manager, he understands what modern customers expect.
This dual expertise gave rise to Réseau Tubulure, co-founded with Thomas. Their goal: to put an end to opaque pricing and unpleasant surprises, and finally reconcile Parisians with their plumbers.
